Tina writes:

"Hi y’all! Who better to run the country that your favourite 9-time Grammy-award-winning Country Music star? Yep, that’s right I’m running for the White House in Nov ’08. Cue the balloons!

 Are you tired of party politics that seems as much like a party as road-kill on a three lane highway? So am I. But why run for office? Haven’t the Dixie Chicks been warning enough for any country gal to stay out of politics? I don’t think so. It’s complex but I’ll run through it briefly. I’m right and they were wrong and I’m prettier than them, well Natalie anyway. So I’m running - and as an independent. No more Republicrats and Democrins. And isn’t it time we had a woman in the White House? Come on it’s 8 years since Mattel made a Madame President Barbie. Doesn’t that tell you anything!
